Six boys and girls were picked at random to have a morning at Colin Allotments. How lucky! There, we met Michael and Gemma who showed us around. We saw so many fruits and vegetables growing and learnt fascinating facts about nature! We went inside the big green house, ate fresh peas, picked flowers and took home strawberry hanging baskets for our school, how kind! Some of the things we saw growing were potatoes, pumpkins, corn, peas, rhubarb, onions, turnips, lettuce, strawberries, coriander, courgettes and many more! Thank you to Michael and Gemma.
